Infosys names former SAP executive Vishal Sikka as CEO

New Delhi, June 12 (ANI): Infosys Ltd on Thursday named former SAP AG executive board member Vishal Sikka as its CEO. With his appointment, Sikka becomes the first non-founder CEO of Infosys, which is India's second-largest IT services exporter. The company also informed that Executive Chairman NR Narayana Murthy would step down on Saturday, nearly a year after he was brought in from retirement to help the company better compete with rivals including Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro. A search is still on to find the remaining 17 bodies from the river which had swept away 24 college students and a tour operator earlier this week.
