Complaints by political parties will be given attention: EC Chief

Chennai, Apr 12 (ANI): Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath on Saturday addressed the media and gave some guidelines to the public and political parties noticing the violation of Model Code of Conduct by various leaders recently. Sampath stated that the complaints made by the political parties will be given due attention and consideration. At the same time, Sampath also said that inflammatory statements of communal nature will be strictly dealt with. Jairam Ramesh releases Congress manifesto for Telangana

Hyderabad, Apr 12 (ANI): Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh on Saturday released the Congress’ election manifesto for Telangana, focusing on how to reconstruct the state on all fronts while mainly addressing problems of water and bifurcation of state level employees. The manifesto was released at the state Congress headquarters. Apart from the other promises, the manifesto also laid a stress on upliftment of weaker sections and promised some new welfare schemes.
