Militant killed in encounter with Indian forces in Baramulla

Baramulla, Feb 21 (ANI): A fierce encounter is on in Kashmir's Baramullah district between security forces and militants on Saturday. The two militants, whose identity was unknown, were holed up in Rafiabad area of the district. Security forces have cordoned off the area and have launched the operation. Militants have been targeting security bases in Kashmir since 1990s, when there was a full-blown insurgency against Indian rule in a region over which India and Pakistan fought two of their three wars. WB CM Mamata Banerjee meets Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina

Dhaka, Feb 21 (ANI): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday reached the Ganabhaban and met Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Reportedly, the two leaders discussed bilateral issues. Banerjee also attended the lunch hosted by Bangladesh government in her honour. Later in the day, Mamata will join a conference organised by the entrepreneurs of Bangladesh and the West Bengal. Manish Sisodia directs DJB to submit report on problems of sewage system in 10 days

New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister and Delhi Jal Board (DJB) chairperson Manish Sisodia in a review meeting had directed the DJB to submit a report on the state of the sewage system and contamination of potable water in the city to the government within 10 days.
