Steven Gerrard looking forward to ‘special occasion’ match against Australian Legends

Liverpool FC Legends and Australian Legends Football teams fronted the media in Sydney on 6 January, a day ahead of their game at ANZ Stadium. Manager Gerrard Houllier, who was in charge of the Liverpool FC Legends team from 1998 until 2004, winning two Football League Cups in 2001, 2003 and taking the team to the FA Cup and Uefa Cup in 2001, said he is proud to be back with The Reds and many of the old players he helped succeed.
