Dutch FIFA fans celebrated as Netherlands grabbed 5-1 victory over Spain

Salvador, June 14 (ANI): Soccer fans from Netherlands celebrated an extraordinary 5-1 victory over Spain in a Group B contest of the FIFA World Cup. It is worst defeat for Spain since its 6-2 thrashing at the hands of Scotland in 1963. On one of the central square of Salvador' the Dutch fans set up a so-called "Orange Fest" where there was singing and dancing and fans clad in their national orange colour. Fathers of Badaun rape and murder victims hope to get justice after CBI starts investigation

Budaun, June 14 (ANI): Father of one of the hanged teenage girls in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh said he is now hopeful of getting justice, after the CBI reached the northern state to investigate the case of the gang-rape and killings of two teenage girls. Two cousins aged 12 and 14, from a low-caste Dalit community, went missing from their village home in Budaun district when they went out to go to the toilet on the evening of May 27. The next morning, villagers found their bodies hanging from a mango tree. Drones to help trace missing bodies in Mandi river tragedy

Mandi, June 14 (ANI): As the massive search for missing students intensified in Himachal Pradesh, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) deployed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to trace the bodies. 24 engineering students of a private engineering college of Hyderabad were swept away when the waters of river Beas suddenly spiked dangerously high following a release from the reservoir of 126 MW Larji hydropower project in Himachal Pradesh on June 08. An official of NDRF, Vairabha Nathan, said although the rescue teams are using UAV to locate the bodies, they are facing problems in GPS connectivity in the rugged topographical conditions. Goa, June 14 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday sailed on the INS Vikramaditya, formidable aircraft carrier and the largest warship of the Indian Navy, off the coast of Goa today. Modi, who travelled for the first time outside Delhi since taking oath on May 26, landed in Goa around 10 am. Modi will witness air power demonstration by various naval aircraft, including MiG 29K, Sea Harriers, P-8I long-range maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare aircraft, Dorniers, Kamov and Sea King helicopters.
