JD (U) files nomination for three RS seats from Patna

Patna, June 09 (ANI): JD (U) on Monday nominated its National President Sharad Yadav, and senior leaders Ghulam Rasool Baliyavi and Pawan Kumar Verma for the Rajya Sabha seats from Bihar. The three leaders filed their nominations from Patna in the presence of Nitish Kumar among other party leaders. The party evening decided to field its candidates on all three vacant RS seats, the elections to which are scheduled on June 19. The decision was taken after a meeting between Yadav and former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Jun 9, 2014
