Modi was welcomed by Indian Ambassador to Germany, Vijay Gokhale, and other dignitaries upon his arrival in the country on Sunday. The sixth BRICS summit will be held in Fortaleza and Brasilia on July 15 and July 16. It will be Modi's first multilateral meeting after assuming office. India would endorse the need for U.N. Security Council reform at the BRICS summit. Baloch diaspora blames Pakistan for human rights violations in Balochitan

Geneva, July 14: Shouting slogans to make the world aware of growing human rights violations in Balochistan. On June 25, representatives of the Baloch Republican Party (BRP), a nationalist party, held a demonstration outside the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. Joined by Baloch Diaspora from other European countries, they opposed the ongoing military operation in Balochistan and rising incidents of enforced disappearances of political leaders and educated youth by Pakistan's spy agencies. BRP president Brahamdagh Bugti sought international intervention to stop the genocide in Balochistan. The Baloch blames Pakistan for forcefully occupying their territory since 1948. Pakistan's biggest yet least populated province, Balochistan shares its borders with Afghanistan and Iran and has rich mineral reserves. Pakistani security agencies are indulging in enforced disappearances and killings of Baloch intellectuals to keep control over the territory. Dhaka, July 14 (ANI): Students in Bangladesh formed a human chain on Monday to protest Israel’s air strikes in Gaza, which killed at least 160 people and forced thousands to flee. Students along with members of Dhaka University took to streets and shouted slogans against Israeli attacks. On Sunday, the Israeli military warned the residents of the northern border town of Beit Lahiya to leave or risk their lives when, after nightfall, it planned to intensify air strikes against suspected Palestinian rocket launchers among civilian homes. M B Avinash, a Ph. D. student at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) in Bangalore, has developed a self-cleaning functional molecular material.
