"During my days in custody, I finally realized that politics isn't my cup of tea. I am thankful to Didi (Mamata Banerjee) that she had thought me capable enough to make me an MP," he added. The TMC MP was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for his alleged links in the Saradha scam in November last year.
