Modi and Obama discuss trade, terrorism at White House

Washington DC, Oct 1 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Barack Obama discussed trade issues, Ebola crisis and the fight against Islamic State militants during an Oval Office meeting. Modi said he sought Obama's support for continued openness and ease of access for Indian services companies in the US market, and he said the two leaders had a candid discussion about a trade agreement reached in Bali last year. Obama said that both the leaders had discussed issues of trade, maritime rules, space exploration, science besides working together on Ebola crisis in West Africa. Obama also discussed threat posed by Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in the Middle East. Unparalleled opportunities lie ahead, says Microsoft CEO to students in New Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 01 (ANI): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Microsoft Corporation, Satya Nadella, on Tuesday (September 30) called upon the youth to grab the immense opportunity that lies ahead of them. Nadella was addressing students at an event in New Delhi, which was streamed live across 20 states, 300 cities and 750 locations across the country. Nadella took the helm of the world's largest software company in February. Earlier during the day, Nadella had said Microsoft would roll out commercial cloud services from local data centres in India by the end of 2015. Microsoft Azure is a cloud-based platform for creating, deploying and maintaining online applications and services such as websites and web-hosted applications. The service, which is used by governments and corporations around the world, supports various programming languages, tools and frameworks.
