Lucknow, Oct 14 (ANI): Rains lashed northern India after cyclone Hudhud battered country's eastern coastline and moved inland turning into a weakened storm. After-effects of cyclone Hudhud have been felt in Uttar Pradesh as it has been receiving heavy rainfall in some parts. According to weather office, Hudhud has weakened into a deep depression but is expected to dump heavy rains in northern and northeastern India and, eventually, snow when it reaches the Himalayan Mountains. All five accused in Dhaula Kuan gangrape case held guilty by Delhi session court

New Delhi, Oct 14 (ANI): A Delhi Session Court on Tuesday convicted all five accused in 2010 abduction and gangrape case in Dhaula Kuan. Lawyer in the case said that the court has held guilty all the accused and that the quantum of punishment will be announced on 17th October. Additional Sessions Judge Virender Bhat had earlier deferred the verdict saying the order was not prepared. Shamshad alias Khutkan, Usman alias Kale, Shahid alias Chhota Billi, Iqbal alias Bada Billi and Kamruddin were being tried for the abduction and gangrape of a 30-year-old call centre executive in Dhaula Kuan area of south Delhi. PM Modi reaches Visakhapatnam to review situation after cyclone Hudhud

Visakhapatnam, Oct 14 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday arrived at the port city of Visakhapatnam to review the situation after cyclone Hudhud hit the states of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Modi was accompanied by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu. The PM will also be conducting an aerial survey of the cyclone affected areas in both the states. Modi has instructed top officials to ensure that there is no bottleneck in relief and rescue work in the cyclone affected areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
