Home Secretary Anil Goswami sacked, Politicos give mixed reactions

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Home Secretary Anil Goswami was sacked last evening following a controversy over interference with CBI probe in Saradha chit fund scam. Political leaders gave mixed reactions on Thursday on the issue as LC Goyal will soon take charge as the new Home Secretary. Congress leader PC Chacko and AAP leader Ashutosh condemned the Central government for being biased with bureaucrats. Kaushambi, Feb 5 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday exuded confidence saying the people of Delhi have faith in their party and they would win in the upcoming elections. Protest held in Delhi against attacks on churches

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): A huge protest was held in Delhi on Thursday over the series of attacks on churches in the national capital. Shouting slogans for justice, agitators demanded immediate action against those responsible for the attacks. Police have detained few protestors for violation of Section 144 before elections. St. Alphonsa's Church in Vasant Kunj was the latest church attacked in the capital on Monday. Following the attack, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) issued notices to the Secretary, Union Home Ministry, Chief Secretary, Government of NCT of Delhi and the Commissioner of Police, Delhi calling for detailed reports including the status of investigation into allegations of desecration of the sanctity of the St. Alphonsa's Church.
