Yesterday, four persons were arrested in connection with a burglary in Singh_s house in which Rs 1.14 crore cash, 600 US dollars, gold and silver jewellery and six luxury watches were purportedly stolen from there and then recovered. Supervisory committee to inspect Mullaperiyar dam on July 17

iruvananthapuram, July 09 (ANI): A supervisory committee set up to raise the water storage level in Mullaperiyar reservoir to 142 feet, in accordance with the directions of the Supreme Court, will inspect the dam on July 17. Additional chief secretary of water resources in Kerala said the water level in Mullaperiyar dam was low due to weak monsoon and it was difficult to share dam water with neighbouring Tamil Nadu.
