New Delhi, Mar 3 (ANI): Foreign Secretary Subrahmanyan Jaishankar is visiting Pakistan today as part of a regional tour, the first top-ranking visit since Prime Minister Narendra Modi broke off talks last year over the disputed region of Kashmir. The diplomat's visit to Pakistan is part of visit to all SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) nations. Politicos react as conflict within AAP increases

New Delhi, Mar 03 (ANI): Political leaders reacted on Tuesday as conflict within the Aam Aadmi Party has seemingly increased. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that it is AAP's internal matter but it should not affect governance of Delhi where people have high hopes from the state government. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that AAP will now know the actual challenges of running a political party because winning polls does not make managing party easier. FIR registered against driver of vehicle: Khattar after convoy runs over pedestrian

Faridabad, Mar 3 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar on Tuesday said that an FIR has been registered against the driver of the pilot car of his convoy which ran over a pedestrian killing him. Two policemen in the CM's pilot vehicle also sustained injuries in the accident that happened on the national highway near Karnal on Monday night. He added that a compensation of Rs 5 lakh has been provided to the family of the victim. Khattar called the incident unfortunate and said that he will ensure that such incident does not repeat. Delhi Gang Rape convict blames victim for fatal assault, Nirbhaya's parents accuse 'judicial system'

New Delhi, March 03 (ANI): Delhi Gang Rape Victim's parents accused 'loose judicial system' in India for the convict's statement wherein he blamed the victim for the fatal sexual assault. Driver of the bus in which the rape took place, Mukesh Singh said that, "Women who go out at night have only themselves to blame in case they attract attention of male molesters." He also said that women are not equal to men and are meant for household chores and asserted that the victim should not have fought back and should have remained silent and allowed the rape. Talking about the death penalty, Singh said that death penalty will only make things more dangerous for girls, in that because men will then the rapists will not leave the girl and 'will kill her after that'. Reacting on the same, Nirbhaya's parents demanded strict laws and judicial systems from the Modi government. Shimla, Mar 03 (ANI): The picturesque tourist spot Shimla in Himachal Pradesh received fresh snowfall. As the state received continuous snowfall and rainfall for 24 hours, temperatures remained below freezing point. The maximum snowfall of three feet was recorded from Rohtang Pass, a high mountain pass near Manali. Fresh snow along with rain was also recorded from Kufri hill station in Shimla district.
