Watch orangutan rescued from tiny, dark box where he was kept prisoner for years

A four-year-old male orangutan named Kotap, who had been kept prisoner in a small box, was saved by an International Animal Rescue team at a remote village in West Kalimantan, Borneo. Kotap had been kept for two years in the dark box, with only a plastic bottle and straw to amuse him. International Animal Rescue shared footage on 3 May. It said Kotap would be taken to a rehabilitation centre where he would be given a chance of returning to the forest where he belongs. May 4, 2017
