William Trubridge sets world record in freediving competition

New Zealander William Trubridge set a new world record by diving 400 feet below the ocean’s surface at the annual Vertical Blue competition in the Bahamas on 30 April. Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a challenge to Barack and Michelle Obama, as well as Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II, for the upcoming Invictus Games.
