Mumbai, Feb 22 (ANI): A Boeing 777 aircraft of American carrier United Airlines (UA) was grounded at Mumbai airport Friday night after engineers found that its right engine cover was badly damaged, officials said. The aircraft, operating flight UA-48 from Newark to Mumbai, was grounded, terming the damage as "major", the sources said, adding it was being suspected that the damage may have been caused during take-off. Bhubaneswar, Feb 22 (ANI): Odisha's law, tourism and culture minister Maheshwar Mohanty, was injured when two unidentified men opened fire at him near his house in Puri. Mohanty, 59, was driving a scooty back home from a function when two miscreants, who were apparently following him on a two-wheeled vehicle, opened fire at him in a narrow lane near Amala Club in the heart of the town at around 8pm on Friday, sources said. The minister sustained a bullet injury on his left arm and suffered head injuries after he fell from the scooty on being fired at.
