New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): In a big relief to Delhi MLA and former AAP member Vinod Kumar Binny, the High Court on Wednesday declared him an independent legislator. This comes after Binny was expelled from Aam Aadmi Party and the Delhi Assembly Speaker MS Dhir had said that despite his expulsion from the party, he will have to follow the party whip in any transaction of business on the floor of the House. He further took a jibe at BJP for not uttering a word on the issue while it had bayed for Afzal Guru’s blood. Chennai, Feb 19 (ANI): The Tamil Nadu Government has decided to release all seven convicts in Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, including AG Perarivalan and Nalini. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Wednesday told the state assembly that the government has decided to release all the convicts in the case. The move by the state government comes a day after the Supreme Court commuted the death sentence of the three of the convicts, Santhan, Murugan and Perarivalan to life term on the ground of delay in deciding their mercy plea by the Centre.
