New Delhi, Feb 18 (ANI): Anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare on Wednesday announced his support to TMC chief and west Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said that his support is not personal or political, but based on her views on society and politics. Addressing a joint press conference with Mamata, he said that Trinamool chief could have led a luxurious life like so many other CMs, but she lives in a one-room house. TN govt decides to release Rajiv Gandhis assassins, Politicos react

New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): The Tamil Nadu Government decided to release all seven convicts in Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, including AG Perarivalan and Nalini. Speaking on the same, Union Law Minister Kapil Sibal on Wednesday said that after Tamil Nadu Government's decision, its the people who have to decide who is for terrorists and who is against. He further took a jibe at BJP for not uttering a word on the issue while it had bayed for Afzal Guru’s blood. Further NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination was a conspiracy and government should take well-thought steps. Chennai, Feb 19 (ANI): The Tamil Nadu Government has decided to release all seven convicts in Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, including AG Perarivalan and Nalini. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Wednesday told the state assembly that the government has decided to release all the convicts in the case. The move by the state government comes a day after the Supreme Court commuted the death sentence of the three of the convicts, Santhan, Murugan and Perarivalan to life term on the ground of delay in deciding their mercy plea by the Centre.
