Lalu Yadav dubs AAP as fraud

Ranchi, Dec 17 (ANI): RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav hit out at Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday, saying that it was fooling people with its false promises. After their resounding victory in the assembly elections in Delhi, the AAP ruled out the possibility of forming an alliance with veterans Congress party or the BJP. Yadav, who was arrested for his involvement in the fodder scam and is now on bail, took a dig at AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and said that he was giving false hopes to the people of Delhi.

India can also arrest US homosexual diplomats post SC ruling: Yashwant Sinha

New Delhi, Dec 17 (ANI): Reacting on the arrest of Indian Diplomat, Devyani Khobragade, senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha on Tuesday said that it is a barbaric act and no words are strong enough to condemn the treatment meted out by the US authorities. Sinha further said that diplomats from US are being treated as viceroys in India and we do not use reciprocity as an instrument of diplomacy. He further said that in wake of the recent SC ruling criminalizing gay sex, even homosexual diplomats, who have been granted visa for staying in India, should be arrested.

Bangladesh sets example by executing war criminal Mollah: Shahriar Kabir

Dhaka, Dec 17 (ANI): Bangladesh journalist and war veteran, Shahriar Kabir said on Tuesday that the country has set an example for other nations by executing Islamist leader Abdul Quader Mollah for war crimes committed during the 1971 war of independence from Pakistan. The decision to hang Mollah, a senior figure in the Jamaat-e-Islami party, which is a key part of the opposition coalition, drew widespread condemnation from political allies and international human rights groups. But many citizens celebrated the first ever execution of a Bangladesh war criminal, which took place late on December 12 at the Dhaka Central Jail in the capital. Kabir while talking to a reporter in Dhaka said that Mollah’s trial gave a message that the perpetrators of genocide can be tried in any country.

Opposition demands Govt to fight against SP & pass Lokpal Bill

Mis-handling Indian diplomats may hinder Indo-US relations, PM should infringe: Defence Analyst

New Delhi, Dec 17 (ANI): After India's deputy consul general in New York Devyani Khobragade was strip-searched and was kept in a cell with drug addicts following her arrest for alleged visa fraud in New York, Defence Expert Capt (Retd) Bharat Verma said that such mis-handling can ruin Indo-US relations. He said that such an action is not tolerable and that PM and the government of India should infringe and give a statement on the same. Verma also said that this is shameful and is bringing a bad name to India.

Bangladesh celebrates its 42nd Independence Day
