Kochi, Feb 19 (ANI): Addressing a conference in Kerela, the President of Mauritius, Rajkeswur Purryag, strongly advocated the use of Indian traditional alternative medicine, Ayurveda, to cope with today's lifestyle. Purryag said that Ayurveda is not only curative but also preventive. Purryag is in India to attend the Global Ayurveda Festival scheduled to be held at Kochi. The five- day event will be inaugurated on Thursday. Mauritius and India share a strong bond as more than 60 percent of Mauritus population is of Indian origin.
