Politicos demand thorough probe in burdwan blast case

Burdwan/New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday said that investigation must be done properly and culprits, involved in the explosions in Burdwan district of West Bengal, should be brought to books as early as possible. NCP leader Majid Memon said that investigating agencies will be able find out the conspiracy behind the blast. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rashid Alvi said there was no place for militancy in the country. Birbhum/ Kolkata, Oct 25 (ANI): Villagers in Birbhum district of West Bengal attacked policemen and their vehicle on Friday, while state administration alleges that the attack was politically motivated. The assailants who attacked the police were armed with crude bombs, batons and other arms. The police reportedly fired few rounds in air to disperse the attacking mob. Regional Trinamool Congress Party leader Anubrata Mondal had earlier alleged that the state BJP workers were behind the attack on the police in Birbhum.
