UK shifts focus to smaller Indian cities for trade

New Delhi, Dec 10 (ANI): Britain’s business secretary Vince Cable has said that his country is keen on exploring trade and investment opportunities in India’s non-metropolitan cities. Cable, made this statement at the 9th meeting of India-UK joint Economic & Trade Committee (JETCO) in New Delhi. Cable also said that his country was ready to welcome Indian students for pursuing higher education. Kaushambi, Dec 10 (ANI): Commenting on the allegations against AAP’s newly- elected MLA from Seemapuri, Dharmendra Koli by the former MLA of the constituency Veer Singh Dhingan, AAP leader Manish Sisodia said that the allegations are nothing more than a political strategy of a filed leader. He said that Koli only took part in a celebration rally in the area, even against which the party had warned him. He said that as asked by the people present at the spot, there was no such incident of molestation with anyone. Garo community in Nagaland celebrates its post harvest Wangala festival with great enthusiasm

Nagaland, Dec 10 (ANI): Around hundred of Garos gathered at Samaguri Village in Dimapur to celebrate Wangla festival. The Wangala is the most significant post harvest festival. It is a "Thanksgiving" ceremony to Misi Saljong, also known as Pattigipa Ra'rongipa (The Great Giver) for having blessed the human beings with rich harvest of the season. It is one of the most important festivals of the Garo tribe. Many young boys and girls, in their traditional attires performed a Folk dance with drum beats during the festival. Dec 10, 2013

New Delhi, Dec 10 (ANI): A day after Aam Aadmi Party leader Prashant Bhushan said that his party can consider supporting BJP from outside in Delhi, only if it agrees to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill and Swaraj bill in a time bound manner, BJP's Harsh Vardhan said that his party has always promised to eradicate corruption. However, Vardhan made no mention of whether the BJP would talk to the AAP about forming government in the state.
