Youth Congress protests against Vyapam Scam in Bhopal, police uses water canon against protesters

Bhopal, Feb 18 (ANI): Members of the Youth Congress staged a protest against the Vyapam scam in Bhopal on Wednesday. Protesters shouted anti-government slogans and police used water cannons to disperse the agitated crowd and manhandled the protesters. Congress party is against the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan holding his post after the scam came to light and continuously demanding his resignation. MP Assembly adjourned till tomorrow after opposition uproar

Bhopal, Feb 18 (ANI): The Madhya Pradesh Assembly has been adjourned till tomorrow following a massive uproar by the Congress Party over the Vyapam scam. The Congress MLAs staged a walkout from the assembly and demanded the resignations of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Governor Ram Naresh Yadav. Earlier on Monday, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh had alleged that Chief Minister Chouhan's name was replaced by Union Minister Uma Bharti and others in the Vyapam case. Singh alleged that Chouhan's name was replaced in the excel-sheet submitted by the Special Task Force in the court, apparently to shield him in the case. Feb 18, 2015

Coimbatore, Feb 18 (ANI): A nineteen-year-old college student, Shradha Prasad, from Coimbatore city in Tamil Nadu is ecstatic about inching closer to her dream of settling down on Mars after clearing the third round of the Mars One mission. Mars One is an ambitious initiative by a Netherlands based non-profit organisation by the same name, which hopes to send four people on a one-way trip to the red planet in 2024. Prasad is one of the three Indian candidates who have qualified for the fourth and the final round of the mission.
