MEA confirms Sharif's attendance for Modi's oath taking ceremony

New Delhi, May 24 (ANI): MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin on Saturday confirmed that Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would attend the swearing in ceremony of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi. Akbaruddin, said that all eight countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) would be present for the august event. New Delhi, May 24 (ANI): AAP sees another leap after Chief Arvind Kejriwal's police custody as Shazia Ilmi on Saturday resigned from all offices of the party. Ilmi addressed media persons post resigning and highlighted various reasons which caused her to quit. She said that she is sad about this decision but had no other option after realizing various flaws in the party. Ludhiana, May 24 (ANI): The anti-narcotics cell along with the local police arrested militants and seized 20 grams of heroin in Punjab. Assistant Sub-Inspector, Anti-narcotics cell, Satvir Singh informed they had arrested active militant, Avtar Singh alias Tari, and one of his accomplices.
