New Delhi, July 14 (ANI): After Madras High Court judge was denied entry into the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association Club for wearing a dhoti, CPI leader D Raja called it deplorable. He said that dhoti is Tamil Nadu’s traditional dress and people from all class wear it. He also said that the act symbolizes the club’s colonial mindset. New Delhi, July 14 (ANI): The Delhi Gangrape victim Nirbhaya’s mother on Monday welcomed the statement of Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi on juveniles. She said that mostly juveniles are indulged in major crimes thinking they won’t get punished. She further added that if such a law comes to existence it will be helpful in controlling crime. SC refuses to allow appointment of IPS Archana Ramasundram in CBI, to hear case next Monday

New Delhi, July 14 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Monday refused to lift stay on appointment of IPS Archana Ramasundram in CBI and gave the next hearing date as next Monday. The court said that inspite of stay on her appointment, Ramasundram joined the agency without permission which intensifies the case further. The Supreme Court had earlier restrained Ramasundram from functioning as the Additional Director until further instructions as initial arguments suggested that her appointment was in breach of the selection process. Vaidik on Sunday courted a controversy after his picture with 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed was released. He, however, said that the photograph was released by him.
