While some dubbed the Prime Minister's speech inspirational, others expressed the hope that he would lead the country towards development. PM Modi went live on AIR for about 20 minutes, in a pilot of a show he hoped would become a weekly opportunity to reach up to two-thirds of the country’s population. Her refusal to accept her bronze medal on the podium went against the values of sportsmanship, Asian Games organisers had said, adding they were reviewing the incident and could take action against her. Devi refused to wear the medal when it was presented to her on October 01, taking it only in her hand before trying to drape it over another competitor who had beaten her in a fight the previous day. Pak says India inflexible on Siachen, Indian Experts react

New Delhi, Oct 03 (ANI): Pakistan foreign ministry's remark that India has never responded positively on proposals regarding demilitarisation of Siachen in Jammu and Kashmir was slammed by the Indian Experts on Friday. While addressing a briefing in Islamabad, Pakistan's foreign ministry spokesperson Tasnim Aslam had said a proposal to demilitarise Siachen and declare it as a Peace Park had cropped up during bilateral discussions in the past, but Indian policy towards resolution of this issue always remained inflexible. Aslam said the proposal was initiated to find peaceful solutions in the region where the ecosystem is getting affected due to regular conflicts.
