Badaun, Feb 02 (ANI): BJP leader Sadhvi Prachi caught herself in yet another controversy while speaking in front of her followers in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. Stating her statement wherein she asked Hindu women to have at least 4 kids as right, she said that there was nothing wrong in it. Prachi said that she only said to have 4 kids and not 35-40 puppies. She said that people who marry Hindu girls for money are spreading Love Jihad and should be stopped. Further, calling India a Hindu nation, she said that names like Tughlakh, Musarraf, etc. were nowhere 1400 years back and that India was 'Hindustan'. Feb 2, 2015

Beijing, Feb 02 (ANI): Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday met her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov while on her four-day visit to China. The two leaders held talks on bilateral and multilateral issues. The meeting was held in the sidelines of the 13th Foreign Ministers' Meeting of Russia-India-China Trilateral, which Swaraj will be attending later. The minister is accompanied by new Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar, MEA Spokesperson Syed Akbaruiddin among other senior ministry officials. China opens additional route to Kailash-Mansarovar in Tibet: MEA

Beijing, Feb 02 (ANI): China agreed to open an additional route to Hindu pilgrimage in Tibet through Nathu La pass, said Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin during Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj visit to Beijing. Akbaruddin said devotees could undertake more comfortable journey by vans and busses to Kailash-Mansarovar, where Lord Shiva is believed to be residing in perpetual meditation state along with his wife Parvati. Swaraj and her Chinese counterpart decided to set up a contact group to discuss the modalities of Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to Beijing later this year. Swarajs trip comes just days after US President Barack Obama's unprecedented second visit to India that concluded with nuclear deal and defence co-operation between the two countries that evoked considerable concern from China. Pakistani Shi'ites protest against Shikarpur mosque blast that killed at least 49 people

Islamabad, Feb 02 (ANI): Dozens of Shi'ite held rallies in Pakistani capital Islamabad to condemn mosque bombing in Shikarpur that killed at least 49 worshippers and injured dozens of others on Friday. Thousands of mourners in Shikarpur city on Saturday held a mass funeral for victims of the bomb blast in a Shi'ite mosque. The blast occurred during Friday prayers. The Islamabad protesters held banners and placards denouncing the bombing and demanding the perpetrators to be hanged publicly. At another protest in Islamabad by ex-graduates of Quaid-e-Azam University, the protesters demanded the government provide quick justice to the families of the victims. Goa police arrest Italian national, recover drug worth millions

Panaji, Feb 02 (ANI): Anti-narcotics cell of police in Goa arrested a 54-year-old Italian national and recovered drug worth one hundred million from him. Acting on a tip-off, a raid was conducted in Anjuna beach area during which accused Vincenzo Rainone was caught red-handed. Later his house was searched where police found 30,000 LSD papers (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) and liquid LSD. This is one of the major seizures of LSD papers by the Goa police.
