SIT questions Amar Singh in Sunanda Pushkar case, to call Shiv Menon for further interrogation

New Delhi, Jan 29 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi said on Thursday that the SIT will question Sunanda Pushkar's son, Shiv Menon in connection with her murder case. Menon is Sunanda Pushkar's son from her second marriage. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed for probing Pushkar's death. Meanwhile, Politician Amar Singh, who claimed to be a close friend of Pushkar was also questioned by the SIT on Wednesday. However, he said that there was nothing relevant that came out after the interrogation and that he made available all the information he had to the SIT.

'Ghar wapsi' held in Bengal, 150 tribals converted to Hinduism; politicos react

New Delhi, Jan 29 (ANI): Reactions poured in on Thursday as reports emerged that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) allegedly re-converted over 100 tribals to Hinduism in West Bengal. Over a dozen adivasi Christian families - some 100 people, including children - reportedly attended the conversion programme. However, the district administration and senior VHP leaders refused to call it a conversion because none of the adivasis had placed an affidavit for name change.
