New Delhi, Feb 08 (ANI): After the NITI Aayog meeting ended, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday said that the meeting was extremely useful in that Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized on empowerment of the states. Jaitley said that the PM gave opening comments thereafter each states gave their opinions. He said that the opening comments were in context of governing model and that the PM said that priorities are growth, investment, jobs and decentralization. He also said that Modi emphasized that economic activities should be in the states and there should be flexibility of states. Jaitley further said that three sub groups is proposed to be formed under NITI Ayog and the members will be announced after CMs give their preferences. Feb 8, 2015

New Delhi, Feb 08 (ANI): After meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other members of the NITI Aayog, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat on Sunday said that he discussed state issues with the Aayog. He said that he was satisfied with the positive response he got from the members and that he hoped for all the help from the centre for the development of the state. He also said that he asked for the same consideration for Uttarakhand as for the north east. Patna, Feb 08 (ANI): JD (U) and RJD leaders on Sunday met Bihar governor Keshari Nath Tripathi over political crisis facing the state today. The parties appealed the governor to sack Jitan Ram Manjhi as he lacks majority and appoint Nitish Kumar as the new chief minister. Bihar JD (U) President Bashishtha Narayan Singh sai dtaht Manjhi is doing all this on order of BJP. Imphal: Three BSF jawans injured in twin IED blasts

Imphal, Feb 08 (ANI): Three Border Security Force (BSF) jawans including one Sub-Inspector and two constables were injured in twin IED blasts that took place at Napetpali village in Imphal. The injured were rushed to the RIMS Emergency Service for medical aid. After the explosion, the security forces, BSF, Assam Rifles and State Police Commando team investigated the locality and nabbed six suspected youths from the area for further verification. The second edition of the three-kilometer marathon drew several known personalities, including the head of youth wing of regional political party, Yuva Sena, Aditya Thackeray, Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade and businessman Ness Wadia.
