Industrialists say India marching with vision to become global power

Gandhinagar, Jan 11 (ANI): Indian industrialists on Sunday said that the country was moving ahead with a vision of elevating its status and role in global community and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiatives and boost investments in Gujarat. World leaders and delegates had gathered at investment summit, 'Vibrant Gujarat', promoted by Modi and held in the city of Gandhinagar. Mukesh Ambani, India's richest man with a fortune estimated at $19.7 billion, praised Modi's leadership. Ambani said his Reliance Industries conglomerate would invest 1 trillion rupees ($16 billion) in Gujarat over the next 12 to 18 months. The 'adopt-a-village' scheme aims to provide rural India with access to basic amenities and opportunities. On Sunday, while adopting Karnali village in Vadodara city, Jaitley interacted with the villagers and offered his prayers at village's ancient 'Kuber Bhandari' temple, which is visited by large number of devotees everyday.
