A student of Class X, Nishu has won several district and state level awards for her unique model. She said that the cooler is affordable at rupees 2500 and can be easily availed by poor, especially children, who have to bear the brunt of power outages. Guwahati, Feb 15 (ANI): Police in Guwahati city detained hundreds of activists on Sunday protesting against students from outside writing exams for recruitment in government jobs. The protest was organised by a powerful students organization, the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU). Police in large numbers stopped the protesters from preventing students from appearing in exams held for the recruitment in railway police.
