New Delhi, Feb 14 (ANI): While Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal took oath as Delhi's Chief Minister, his political rival and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kiran Bedi said that it was a day of celebration and reflection. "Today is a day of celebration and reflection. When both the processes are done with true responsibility and commitment, India is the real winner," tweeted Bedi. The former IPS officer, who was the BJP's chief ministerial candidate for the recently concluded Delhi polls, faced a crushing defeat in her constituency Krishna Nagar, which had been a stronghold of the saffron party. He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. Along with Kejriwal, six other Aam Aadmi Party leaders - Manish Sisodia, Asim Ahmed Khan, Sandeep Kumar, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai and Jitender Singh Tomar were also sworn-in as cabinet ministers. New Delhi, Feb 14 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday sworned-in as the Chief Minister of Delhi. He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung at the Ramlila ground. Unlike last year, where he took the Delhi Metro to reach the venue, today he was seen heading to Ramlila Maidan in a grey Innova car, flanked by his colleague Manish Sisodia. Six other Aam Aadmi Party leaders - Manish Sisodia, Asim Ahmed Khan, Sandeep Kumar, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai and Jitender Singh Tomar were also sworned-in as ministers. After the oath taking ceremony, Kejriwal will head to Rajghat to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi. He is expected to hold his first cabinet meeting at around 4 pm. Kinnaur, Feb 14 (ANI): Over 1300 tribal labourers marched down a mountain in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh against a hydropower firm, demanding wages, shelter and compensation. The protest against Jaypee Hydropower has now entered a month and is becoming aggressive with each passing day. Local administration deployed heavy security in the area as protesters became aggressive. Despite the freezing cold, labourers have been actively participating in the protest, demanding wages according to labour laws, protection, etc. As per the workers, the company has not provided them with shelter during the cold.
