Thousands re-enacted the Battle of Hastings on its 950th anniversary. The sold-out event celebrated the 1066 victory of William the Conqueror over Anglo-Saxon King Harold.The annual event, held on the site of the original clash at Battle, near Hastings, drew an especially large crowd - thanks to high levels of interest in the anniversary year. A video shows the dramatic rescue of a woman from her car. She had accidentally reversed into a pond in Arlington, Massachusetts.Initially the 68-year-old could not leave the car as it was filing up with water.Three bystanders later jumped into the pond to rescue her. The leader made the comment in response to a 14 October interview with the BBC, in which Aisha Buhari said she might not support her husband in 2019 presidential election.I dont know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room, Buhari said during a press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel during an official visit in Germany.
