Sully movie: Real-life pilot Chesley Sullenberger on being played by Tom Hanks

Based on Captain Chesley Sullenbergers memoir, Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters, upcoming biopic Sully: Miracle On The Hudson explores one pilots heroic achievement of water landing an Airbus A320-214, after both of its engines failed, back in 2009. All 155 passengers and crew aboard survived the incident thanks to Sullenberger and his co-pilot Jeff Skiles calm and pragmatic quick-thinking, and according to Sullenberger, the film re-enacts what actually happened in that cockpit when things started to go wrong perfectly. CCTV shows woman left paralysed after car drives onto pavement

CCTV footage has been released showing the moment a woman was left paralysed after a car drove onto the pavement. The video, released by the Metropolitan Police, captures the incident which happened on the 29 May in Norwood, London.The woman who was paralysed was 30-year-old Chanelle Higgins. According to to the police appeal, Higgins was paralysed from the waist down and is confined to a wheelchair.The police said that on 16 June a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Cuban President Raul Castro paid his final respects to to his brother and predecessor Fidel Castro.The president signed signed an allegiance to the countrys revolution during a ceremony in Havana.Fidel Castro died on 25 November at the age of 90.His ashes will be in the countrys Revolutionary Square for two days so Cubans can pay their final respects. Video shows Brazil football team Chapecoense boarding plane before deadly crash

A plane with 81 people on board, including members of the Brazilian first division football team Chapecoense, has crashed in the city of Medellin in Colombia. A video published on Facebook shows the Chapecoense players checking in before the flight at the international airport in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Chapecoense were due to play Medellin-based team Atletico Nacional in the final of the Copa Sudamericana on 30 November, but the match has now been suspended. Nov 29, 2016
