Mumbai, Sep 20 (ANI): Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar took his love for designing a step further as he launched his collection titled Marquee in collaboration with a popular foreign brand in showbiz capital Mumbai. Johar collaborated with Denmark-based fashion brand Vero Moda for his exclusive and lavish women wear collection, which was unveiled at a fashion show at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai. Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon Thadani, who was seen at the event with her husband Anil Thadani, a film distributor, was all praise for Johar and expressed happiness at this collaboration. The tourism department, which markets Kerala as ‘God’s own country’ has come up with Responsible Tourism (RT), to let tourists have a hands on experience. The initiative focuses on attracting tourists to the villages, where they can see activities like weaving, pottery, making items out of coconut and also enjoy authentic Kerala cuisine. As per the state government in Kerala, RT will help in reviving age old traditional handicrafts and attract youth to follow the same. Tourists flocked villages and get elated to see women weaving with coconut leaves.
