Nasscom launches third phase of startup initiative mission

Bangalore, July 01 (ANI): The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) invited applications from startups as it commenced the third phase of its 10,000 start-ups initiative across the country. The 10,000 startups initiative, which is a national database of startups and identifies the areas of their operations, is a one-stop platform for all fresh entrepreneurs. Addressing a news conference in Bangalore Senior Director, NASSCOM 10,000 Startups initiative, Rajat Tandon said in first two phases at least 529 people were impacted. The association had earlier sent a 30-member representative delegation of software products and solutions to the Silicon Valley in the US for providing a global platform for young entrepreneurs. Police recover arms cache from Maoists in Giridih

Giridih, July 1 (ANI): Acting on a tip off, the CRPF along with the district police recovered arms and ammunitions from Maoists in the red corridor of Jharkhand. A rebel was also reportedly killed during the police encounter. Superintendent of Police (SP), Giridih, Kranti Kumar, said that the combing was launched in the area to nab the red rebels but they escaped amid exchange of fire.
