Shahsrang focuses on the traditional use of mystic poetry, the songs of yearning and remembrance of history that have fashioned Kashmir s folk music into an essential repository of memory and faith. A number of music lovers were seen enjoying the mystic musical performances by various Kashmiri artistes. The defining feature of the society of Jammu and Kashmir is Sufism. Carnival showcases culture of the northeastern region in New Delhi
