Chennai, Sep 27 (ANI): After Supreme Court on Friday directed the Election Commission to provide a button on voting machines to allow voters to reject all candidates contesting an election, Former Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalaswami said that the ruling will force the political parties to nominate such candidates who are less controversial and supports less tainted records. Mumbai, Sep 27 (ANI): Atleast 5 injured and almost 25 are feared trapped under the debris of a five-storey BMC staff quarter building that collapsed near the Babugenu Market on Dockyard Road in Mumbai. The incident happened at 6:25 AM on Friday. Rescue operations were on after eight disaster control teams and ten fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Meanwhile, a former corporator Suresh Jadhav said that the authorities delayed the renovation work which caused the building to collapse. The residents are in shock and grief after the disaster.
