Tejpal fails to meet 3 PM deadline, extension plea rejected: Goa DIG

Panaji, Nov 28 (ANI): Giving updates about the Tehelka sexual assault case, Goa DIG OP Mishra said that the accused Tarun Tejpal failed to meet the 3:00 PM deadline to appear before the court and thereafter his plea for time extension for the same was rejected by the investigating officer (IO). Police arrest five Maoists in Bihar

Gaya, Nov 28 (ANI): Acting on a tip off, the police and security forces in Bihar nabbed five Maoists and recovered arms from the rebels. The arrests took place in Gaya district of Bihar, which is a stronghold of the rebels. Earlier this month, a joint team of the state police and paramilitary forces had seized a large quantity of explosives from a Maoist hideout in a forest in Jamui district. Divulging details, Senior Superintendent of Police, Nishant Tiwari, said that the Maoists were arrested from different locations in the district.
