Telangana: Congress has done big criminal conspiracy, says BJP

New Delhi, Oct 06 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday lashed out at the Congress party over the Telanagana issue and said that the party is doing a criminal conspiracy and is creating a civil war like situation in the state. Speaking to mediapersons in New Delhi, BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that in the name of creating a separate state, the Congress has divided the people and nation.

Neelam Dubey on fresh rape case against Asaram Bapu

Noida, Oct 06 (ANI): Reacting to the new rape case registered against controversial self-styled godman Asaram Bapu and his son Narayan Sai by two sisters from Surat, Bapu's spokesperson Neelam Dubey said that they will cooperate in investigation but its clearly a conspiracy. She also said asked why new cases are surfacing against the father-son duo at a time when the self-styled godman is in jail for allegedly sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl.

Surat: 2 sisters accuse Asaram Bapu, his son of raping them, case registered

New Delhi, Oct 06 (ANI): In fresh trouble for controversial self-styled godman Asaram Bapu, an FIR has been registered by two sisters from Surat against the spiritual guru and his son Narayan Sai. According to the FIR, Asaram raped the elder sister at Ahmadabad Ashram and his son raped the younger one in Surat between 2002 and 2004. Surat police commissioner Rakesh Asthana has said that there is a possibility of Narayan Sai's arrest. Asaram, 75, was arrested in August on charges of sexually assaulting a schoolgirl and has been in prison in Jodhpur in Rajasthan since then. Shilpi, one of his key aides and the warden of Asaram's 'ashram' in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh where the alleged sexual assault took place, too has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.

Bifurcation of Telangana taken in regard to the future of Andhra Pradesh: Congress

Hyderabad, Oct 06 (ANI): Backing the formation of Telangana from the existing state of Andhra Pradesh, Cabinet Minister for Ministry of Science & Technology, Sudini Jaipal Reddy said that the final decision of bifurcation had been taken in interest of the future of the people of the region. He said relevant issues of concern would be addressed in proper perspective. The central government had approved the creation of a new Telangana state and also endorsed that Hyderabad would be the joint capital for a period of ten years.

Maoists call for shutdown in Ranchi

Ranchi, Oct 05 (ANI): Maoists have called for a shutdown in Ranchi district of Jharkhand on Saturday (October 05) following encounter of their fellow rebel, bringing normal life in the region to a standstill.
