BJP, JD (U) conspiring against RJD: Lalu

Patna, Feb 25 (ANI): RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday alleged that the Janata Dal (United) and the Bharatiya Janata Party are conspiring to split his party. Baffled ahead of Lok Sabha elections, Lalu said that what Nitish Kumar has done is similar to America's Watergate scandal. RJD Chief has called for an emergency meeting of his party leaders and is expected to meet all the 13 MLAs. On Monday, 13 of Lalu's 22 Bihar legislators announced that they had split away from the Rashtriya Janata Dal. They met Bihar Assembly Speaker Uday Narain Choudhary and sought to be recognized as a separate group; the Speaker immediately declared them "unattached" from the RJD. Meant social media, not journalism: Shinde

Sholapur, Feb 25 (ANI): Giving clarification over his remark to "crush" the electronic media, Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Tuesday said that he did not mean "journalism" but “social media”. Shinde was heard threatening to "crush" the electronic media, alleging a section of it was unnecessarily provoking the Congress party by indulging in "false propaganda" against it.

Rahul says dedicating their life to nation, soldiers are true heroes

Chandigarh, Feb 25 (ANI): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi referring to the army men said that “dedicating their life to nation soldiers are true heroes” as the ex-service men thank him for his relentless efforts to push the ‘One Rank, One Pension’ scheme. Gandhi regretted the delay in clearing of the scheme and said that it should have been implemented long back. Gandhi said that ‘One Rank One Pension’ scheme would prove historical for the welfare of the soldiers, who defend the country by working in difficult conditions.

LS Polls: All options open to form likeminded coalition, says Congress

China downplays Modis remarks on Arunachal Pradesh

Beijing, Feb 25 (ANI): China sought to downplay remarks by BJP’s prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, who said that the disputed territory of Arunachal Pradesh was an integral part of India and urged China to abandon its "mindset of expansion".
