At least 20 jawans killed in Chhattisgarh naxal attack

Tongpal, March 11 (ANI): At least 20 jawans are feared killed and several others have been injured in an encounter that went on for over three hours between the Naxals and security forces in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. The attack reportedly began around 10:30 am in the Tongpal area, about 500 km south of Raipur. Following the attack, an encounter broke out between the CRPF-police personnel and Maoists. Lucknow, March 11 (ANI): Stand-up comedian and actor Raju Srivastava on Tuesday opted out of contesting elections from Samajwadi Party's Kanpur seat in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. Srivastava said that though there is no base of the party in Kanpur, he took this responsibility with positivity but non-cooperation from the SP workers in the constituency made him to resign from the poll fray. New Delhi, March 11 (ANI): Deputy Chairman of India's Planning Commission, Montek Singh Ahluwalia on Tuesday called for lifting of restrictions on renewable energy during a conference on 'Financing Renewable and Energy Efficient Technologies' in the national capital of New Delhi. Secretary of US Department of Energy, Ernest Moniz was also present at the conference, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). 20 jawans feared dead in Chhattisgarh Naxal attack

Raipur, Mar 11 (ANI): At least 20 jawans are feared dead and several others have been injured in an encounter between the Naxals and security forces in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh today.
