SC rejects Centre's plea opposing SIT to probe on black money

New Delhi, March 26 (ANI): Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected Centre's plea against setting up SIT to monitor and probe the issue of black money inside and outside the country. The SC said that the court has witnessed Centre's failure to take steps during last six decades for bringing back black money deposited in foreign banks. the court also said that if brought back, black money can stabilize the dwindling economy and can lessen the load of price rise and taxes on common man.

Congress releases Election manifesto, politicos react

New Delhi, March 26 (ANI): Political leaders criticized Congress' election manifesto released on Wednesday in the presence of party President Sonia Gandhi, Vice President Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. BJP Vice-President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Congress has a number of scams during its governance and they should rather have released 'scam letter' than election manifesto. AAP leader Ashutosh said that people have lost their faith in the Congress party and any manifesto will not work for the party. JD (U) leader KC Tyagi said that the promises in the manifesto are impractical and there is no way that these can be fulfilled. Further, CPI (M) leader Brinda Karat said that Congress repeated its old unfulfilled promises, which is a cruel joke on people.

Promotion of film 'Dishkiyaaoon'

Mumbai, March 26 (ANI): The cast and crew of the upcoming Bollywood movie 'Dishkiyaaoon' on Tuesday came together in India's entertainment capital Mumbai, for the promotional event. The film stars actor Sunny Deol, Harman Baweja and debutant actress Ayesha Khanna. The film has been produced by actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra and has been directed by Sanamjit Singh Talwar. The producer hoped for a positive response for the film. The film is an action drama film, with Harman playing the role of a gangster. He is making a comeback through this movie after a very long time. Meanwhile, Sunny threw light on his character. The film is slated to hit the theaters on 28th March 2014.
