New Delhi, April 27 (ANI): In its sharpest attack on the Congress, BJP on Sunday released a video targeting Robert Vadra and his land deals. The party took a full swing jibe at the ‘corrupt Congress’ and the way Vadra is being encouraged and forgiven for being the ‘land mafia’. This came barely hours after Priyanka Gandhi took a dig at Narendra Modi over his ’56-inch chest’ remark.

Fatehpur, April 27 (ANI): Addressing a rally in Fatehpur city of Uttar Pradesh, BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi took jibe on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi saying that he make statements about facts that are totally unknown to him. People reel under intense heat wave in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, April 27 (ANI): People in Odisha faced gruelling heat conditions as temperature in capital city of Bhubaneswar rose above 40 degrees Celsius. Besides Bhubaneswar, mercury touched 42.7 degrees in several towns like Angul and Bhawanipatna. The temperature crossed 40 degree Celsius in 16 other towns of the state. Director of Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, Sarat Chandra Sahu, said no rainfall and wind from hot areas were causing heat wave conditions. As per Sahu, the heat wave condition will continue for the next seven days as there is no flow of wind from the sea. Locals were seen carrying umbrellas and drinking fruit juices to protect themselves from the sun and beat the heat. The roadside juice vendors were doing brisk business as the locals thronged shops for refreshing cold beverages.

Thousands of pilgrims gather as Vatican declares Popes John Paul II & John XXIII saints

Vatican City, April 27 (ANI): Tens of thousands of pilgrims tried to move past barricades around the Vatican in the early hours of Sunday morning in an effort to be in pole position for the canonisation ceremony that declared Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII saints. It is the first time two popes have been canonised at the same time. Giant screens were set up in nearby streets and elsewhere in the city for those unable to get into the square. Thousands of Polish pilgrims crammed into streets around the Vatican after having spent the night dancing and singing. The event will be attended by Heads of States, members of royal families and government officials from around the world. There will also be one special guest, Emeritus Pope Benedict.
