New Delhi, June 17 (ANI): Addressing a rally of e-rickshaw owners and drivers at the Ramlila Maidan in the national capital, union transport minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday announced that the Delhi government won't ban the e-rickshaws, bringing relief to at least 2 lakh rickshaw drivers. Chennai, June 17 (ANI): Actor-politician Khushbu, one of the most prominent faces of the DMK, has quit the party and reportedly hit out at the party leadership for ignoring her "hard work". Khushboo, a star campaigner of the M Karunanidhi-led DMK, announced her decision to quit the party on a day when it announced plans to restructure its district units as part of its revamp plan to prepare for the 2016 assembly elections. Reacting over this DMK spokesperson TKS Elangovan said that Khushboo has not given any reason for her resignation but it seems she was not happy in the party. He added if she had brought in notice her problems in front of the senior leaders and party head before resigning, surely her problems would have been solved. Siliguri, June 17 (ANI): Reports of continuous deaths due to consuming litchi fruit in West Bengal have hit the sales of the seasonal fruit. Six children were reported to have died in the province on June 07 after eating contaminated litchi. Many other children were being treated in hospitals. The fear of virus and pest in the food has perturbed the people and forced them to choose other fruits to appease their palate, leading to a loss in the litchi market.
