Berlin, July 15 (ANI): Germany_s victorious national soccer team arrived home on Tuesday, two days after winning the FIFA World Cup title in Brazil. A plane carrying coach Joachim Loew and his squad touched down at Berlin_s Tegel airport where it was received by fire engines spraying the Boeing 747 with water as a welcome home gesture. Captain Philipp Lahm, carrying the trophy, was the first to leave the plane, followed by Bastian Schweinsteiger who was wrapped in a large German flag. National carrier Lufthansa temporarily changed its name to Fanhansa in honour of the world champions and added the words _winner_s plane_ (_Siegerflieger_) to its logo, complete with the picture of a soccer ball. The pioneer of the Chipko movement has also been awarded with the Ramon Magsaysay Award for community leadership in 1982 followed by the Padma Bhushan in 2005. The Gandhi Peace Prize was instituted in 1995 on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
