Subramanian Swamy calls for proper investigation in Sunanda Pushkar's death

New Delhi, July 02 (ANI): Commenting on the allegations made in the Sunanda Pushkar's autopsy report case, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday reiterated that Pushkar was murdered and called for proper investigation in the case. Swamy said that Pushkar had told people that she will expose the corruption in IPL. He further said that it was strange that her husband and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor was admitted in the AIIMS Hospital when the autopsy was about to be conducted on Pushkar's body. According to media reports, the head of the forensics department at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Dr. Sudhir Gupta, has said that he was pressurized to give a doctored report in Pushkar's death case. Gupta headed the team of experts who conducted the postmortem on Pushkar's body. New Delhi, July 02 (ANI): Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has sought a report from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) director over an AIIMS doctor's allegations that the autopsy in Sunanda Pushkar's death was submitted under pressure. Harsh Vardhan also told that the former forensics head Dr Sudhir Gupta, who has claimed that Pushkar's autopsy was made under pressure, had also given a presentation regarding his promotion, soon after he assumed charge as the Union Health Minister. Sunanda Pushkar, was found dead in her hotel room in Leela Palace in New Delhi's Chanakyapuri on January 17.
