Landslide in Thane kills one, injures seven

Thane, Sept 03 (ANI): Landslide caused by heavy rains in Thane district in Maharashtra claimed life of an eight-year-old girl and left seven others injured. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Prashant Khere, said the incident happened in Gayatri Nagar area. The residents along with the fire officials carried out the rescue operation as they pulled people out from under the debris. The injured have been admitted to a nearby government hospital.

Usain Bolt wows India with cricket bat, says his records unbeatable

Bolt arrived in Bangalore to play a seven-a-side exhibition cricket match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium against a team with some of India's top players. His team including his best friend Nugent Walker Junior and Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh among others won the match and wowed the audience present.The rival team was led by Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh and the four-over match was hosted by former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja. Laughing off questions on potential challengers, Bolt said a few runners could challenge him but can't beat him.
