India and US issues vision "Chalein Saath Saath: Forward Together We Go"

New Delhi, Sept 30 (ANI): Following the 90-minute dinner meet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with US President Barack Obama at the White House, India and the US today issued a vision statement titled, "Chalein Saath Saath: Forward Together We Go." "As leaders of two great democratic nations with diverse traditions and faiths, we share a vision for a partnership in which the United States and India work together, not just for the benefit of both our nations, but for the benefit of the world," the White House said in a statement. The vision statement said that US-India strategic partnership is a joint endeavour for prosperity and peace, and through intense consultations, joint exercises and shared technology, their security cooperation will make the region and world safe and secure. Delhi LG appeals residents to come out and participate in 'Clean India Mission'

New Delhi, Sep 30 (ANI): As Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Clean India Mission' is to commence from October 02, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung appealed all the residents of the national capital to come out and participate in the mission. Afghanistan to sign US security agreement

Kabul, Sept 30 (ANI): Afghanistan will on Tuesday sign a crucial security agreement allowing the United States to leave a small contingent of troops in the country beyond this year, US officials said. Speaking in Kabul, White House counselor John Podesta said it was a positive move. Goa CM launches four-lane highway project from Old Goa to Panaji

Goa, Sep 30 (ANI): Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar launched a four-lane highway project from Old Goa to Panaji, which will be numbered as 'Highway 17B'. Public Works Department Minister Sudin Dhavalikar said that the highway will have a separate lane for bikes as Goa tourists as well as residents use more bikes than other vehicles. He said that the project is envisaged as model corridor for future development of national highways in the state. Dhavalikar who had last week spoken of a nearly 11 km flyover, said that there will be a flyover/bridge across Chimbel creek. It will be 200m long and will have six lanes with a footpath. PM Modi reaches White House, meets US President Obama
