New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): Amid deepening political crisis in Bihar, JD (U) expelled Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi from the party. Manjhi, who has refused to resign as Bihar Chief Minister to make way for Nitish Kumar, has been expelled by his the party. According to sources, Manjhi, who met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday and reportedly discussed the Bihar situation, was accused of anti-party activities. "I am the Chief Minister and I will be here till the legislature party decides otherwise," Manjhi had said on Sunday. Manjhi had also promised to step down if he failed to prove his majority. New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): A day before Delhi assembly election results, residents in two constituencies of the national capital had to vote again on Monday due to fault in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). As per media reports, voters in Delhi Cantonment and Rohtas Nagar constituencies were notified about re-polling on Sunday, after election officials found that EVMs still contained the mock votes, which were polled to check the machines. Rebel Anil Singh gave himself up and also deposited a carbine and a rifle to Director General of Police, Jharkhand, Rajeev Kumar, at a function in Khunti district. Singh was handed over a cheque of rupees 50,000 under government's surrender policy.
