After Titan ad with Kalki Koechlin and now for Mountain Dew. Akhil recently shot for an adventurous ad in the Himalayas & the video is out now. Mountain dew is famous for rich commercials with death defying stunts and this one also not an exception. The excited actor had tweeted, "I've had a fear of heights from the time I was a child. So when Mountain Dew asked me to climb up a mountain, it was my worst fear come true. Fear comes naturally, but I wasn’t letting fear stop me this time!" Dec 12, 2014

Apart from Rajnikanth, Anushka has done a decent job in her role as TV reporter and the other leading lady Sonakshi Sinha, impresses the audience with her expressions. Santhanam is good as always with his witty one-liners and his combination with Rajinikanth has worked wonders. Ed Sheeran says not ballsy enough to sing James Bond theme

New Delhi, Dec 12 (ANI): Ed Sheeran has ruled himself out of singing the James Bond theme tune because he thinks he lack the balls for it and has instead nominated singer Sam Smith for the job. The 'Thinking Out Loud' singer told the Independent that he was a James Bond fan but he felt that if he was going to do it, it would sound a bit wet. It's Rajnikanth's Birthday!

Bengaluru, Dec 12 (ANI): Fans in southern India have made elaborate arrangements to celebrate 64th birthday of the Tamil superstar Rajnikanth on Friday. And, this time they have double reason to celebrate the event as it coincides with the release of his movie "Lingaa". Lingaa is a Tamil action thriller which will see Rajnikanth playing double role, and has been paired opposite Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha. Fans thronged theatres to catch the first show of Lingaa and cut cakes to celebrate the birthday of the superstar. Streets have been decked up with huge cut-outs of Rajnikanth. Fans were seen pouring milk on his cut-outs to wish for his long life. His fans in the IT hub of Bangalore took out a huge rally to commemorate the day. More than 50 cars and 200 two wheelers took part in the rally. The celebrations, which began in midnight, are expected to continue throughout the day.
