BSE closes points 165.42 down on April 29

New Delhi, April 29 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 165.42 points down to stand at 22,466.19. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 46.00 points down to stand at 6,715.25. Wockhardt and Financial Tech were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 12.01% and 4.99% along with Jain Irrigation and JPINFRATEC with an increase of 4.83% and 3.59% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Jindal Steel and Future Retail with a decrease of 9.07% and 5.91% along with Tata Steel and JSW Steel with a decrease of 4.79% and 4.77% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 160.58 points at 13,322.91 while the banking sector is down 190.48 points at 14,773.76 and the realty sector is down 5.61 points at 1,475.02. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 21.50 points down to stand at 6,761.25. UPL and JP infratec were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 20.18% and 13.83% along with Jain Irrigation and Wockhardt with an increase of 13.52% and 11.73% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Shriram City University and Ambuja Cements with a decrease of 5.24% and 4.23% along with Shriram Transport and LIC Housing Finance with a decrease of 3.46% and 3.11% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 132.47 points at 13,483.49 while the banking sector is up 53.94 points at 14,964.24 and the realty sector is up 8.46 points at 1,480.63. Strides Arco and Future Retail were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 13.09% and 7.68% along with UPL and Indiabulls Real Estate with an increase of 7.64% and 6.28% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Mangalore Refinery and MRF with a decrease of 6.88% and 6.44% along with Cairn India and Ambuja Cements with a decrease of 4.91% and 4.89% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 26.47 points at 13,605.69 while the banking sector is down 101.75 points at 14,910.30 and the realty sector is up 10.84 points at 1,474.13.
